MeKo is a wholly woman- and minority-owned enterprise dedicated to serving the business and institutional community with their janitorial service needs.  The company was founded by Konjit Yilma, in response to the ever-increasing demand for professional janitorial service providers that consistently deliver superior performance at a competitive price.  Konjit and her team of professionals gained extensive experience and valuable insights into the facilities services business during the years of professional engagement at top-rated, reputable service providers and acquired a passion for the business. As companies and organizations increasingly outsource many ancillary services (a) to take advantage of third-party expertise and cost-efficiencies, and (b) to focus their own resources on their core competencies, the custodial service provider market has exploded.

However, performance excellence is scarce, much less consistent, and rarely is it delivered at a competitive price. Too often the clients in this market are under-served; they either experience performance shortcomings, expend too much time on problem resolution, or they pay too much, or both.

Despite the highly competitive and volatile nature of the commercial cleaning industry, motivated by our passion for excellence and our total commitment to quality, we boldly launched MeKo with one goal in mind:
